Consistency. Persistency. Determination.

Creating change, whether it’s to lose weight, start a new exercise regime or setting new career ambitions, we need to focus on three things.


Consistency. Persistence. Determination.


Consistency gives us repetition. Continually applying the change, the new habit, the new pattern means that we can break the old pattern. If you plan on starting a new exercise regime, decide how many days per week you want to commit then stick to it. Eventually, through consistency, it becomes second nature.


Persistency means get up out out bed, especially when you don’t want to! Get up and go for that run or go to the gym or meditate. Follow through your commitment. Maybe you need to get up 15 minutes earlier, so set the alarm accordingly on those days. Don’t settle for anything less.


Determination gives us the focus. Determination gives the clarity to go forward, to achieve the goals you have committed to. Write down your goals. Visualise your life with the changes you want. See it play out in your mind. What does it look like. How does it feel. Really see yourself in this new transformation.


Most of all, believe in yourself. Believe that you can make change.


Maintaining healthy eating habits consisting of an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, along with regular exercise can help you stay focussed to achieve the change you want and desire.
